The Problem

London is a buzzing multicultural city, but how often do we fully experience it? And in these challenging Brexit times, are we more divided than we’ve ever been?

The Idea

We set-out on a personal social media project, to show the magic living in an open and diverse place and to show the power of football. We challenged Londoners to invite us to watch their team with them during the World Cup, all 32 nations without leaving London, and the response was overwhelming.

The project saw us invited to talk live on the BBC Breakfast Show, Sky Sports and ITV. It was also covered by major media platforms from The Guardian to Russia Today and tweets from England legend, John Barnes and the football institution, Match of the Day. We were even invited by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to watch England v Croatia with 40,000 other England fans at Hyde Park. England may not have won the World Cup, but Londoners definitely did.
