I'm going to attend a Holiday Stamp-a-Stack in Reno later today and I just learned I need to bring some thank you cards for the Ronald MacDonald House as part of the event!
I pulled out my Big Shot and used the Movers & and Shapers die and put together 10 cards in less than an hour.
1.) Take 8.5 x 11 paper and cut it in half the long way. Any color is fine. Thank goodness for Stampin' Up coordinating colors, papers and inks.
2.) Position Movers & Shapers Bigz Die before you, the long way, and put the open panel on your ri
ght. Align the shape die upside down (i.e. heart pointing down) in the top right corner.
3.) Run your strip of card stock through the Big Shot and you're half way there.
4.) Round up your stamps (I used Thank You stamps in my example) and grab some of your scatter stamps such as small flowers, stars, dots.
5.) Stamp on Whisper White paper and punch out with the coordinating shape punches in your choice of inks.
6.) On a piece of scrap paper, open your card and stamp around the shape. Use the same color ink used in Step 5. Don't forget to dress up the envelope too.
You'll have a stack of cards in no time at all. Wrap them in a ribbon and you have a great gift too!
